Questions

FAQ

Do my attendees need an app?

No. Apple Wallet and Google Wallet are built into every iPhone and almost every Android phone. Your attendee taps one button and the ticket is saved.

Does Tickera support Apple Wallet?

Yes, with Wallet Pass for Tickera. It adds Tickera Apple Wallet support: once an order is completed, each ticket gets an Add to Apple Wallet button on the Thank You page, in the customer’s account and in the confirmation email. Passes are signed with your own Apple Developer certificate.

How do I add Tickera tickets to Google Wallet?

Attendees tap Save to Google Wallet on the Thank You page or in the confirmation email. On your side, Wallet Pass for Tickera gives you Tickera Google Wallet support: add your Google Wallet issuer details once, click Verify, and every new ticket gets its own pass.

Do I need a paid third-party service?

No. Pass generation runs entirely on your server. You do need an Apple Developer Program membership (US$99/year, paid to Apple) for the Apple signing certificate, and a free Google Cloud project for Google Wallet.

See the full setup guide for step-by-step Apple and Google Wallet instructions.

Is any attendee data sent to you or to Blue Brain Media?

No. Passes are generated locally on your site. A pass carries the event details and the ticket code only.

What happens if my licence lapses?

Passes keep generating exactly as before. You stop receiving plugin updates and support until you renew — nothing breaks.

Which Tickera setup does this work with?

Tickera (free or premium) selling tickets through WooCommerce via Tickera’s Bridge for WooCommerce add-on.

Is there a free version?

Yes — a Google Wallet–only edition is on WordPress.org. Same self-hosted approach, no licence. Apple Wallet, updates and support are in the paid edition.

Can I try it first?

There’s a 14-day money-back guarantee. If it isn’t right for your setup, email support within 14 days for a full refund.
